”We know who to call when it’s time for our next move”

Pontus has experienced many international moves

The Gäbel family first came across Alfa Quality Moving a decade ago when they were moving from Sweden to the United Kingdom. Everything went excellent and it was the same when they moved back to Sweden after three years. Click here

- We were moving our household goods back home and some of the things to our summer house. We were worried that some things would end up at the wrong place but everything went perfect.

A few years later it was time for the family to move to Oberwil, Switzerland. By a coincidence another removal company was selected to perform the move.

- That became our worst move ever! Everything had been so easy earlier but this time we experienced both the preparations and the actual move to be a handful. We had several different contact persons and they showed us very little flexibility in planning the move. On the day of the move they had forgotten to book a parking permit at the police to park at our address, so they had to walk almost 100 meters with our stuff. Because of this some newly purchased furniture ware damaged.

When the family moved back to Viken, west of Helsingborg, Sweden, Alfa Quality Moving was the obvious choice.

- It was important for us to have one contact person in Jönköping that knew all the details about our move. The packers were very careful and packed all our things quickly and professionally. We’ve been extremely satisfied with all our AQM moves and we know who to call when it’s time to move again.

Pontus’s best moving tips

- Look through and sort out all your things before it’s time to move! Clear, sell, throw-/give- away, all the things you don’t use before moving.
- Don’t move things you don’t use. It’s often much harder to get rid of the things abroad.
- Sort similar things in plastic boxes, such as computer appliances, mobile phones, chargers, cleaning stuff etc. so it’s all in the same place.
- Let the children be a part in planning the move. It’s fun for them to be able to create their new rooms and how they would like their new home to be.
